DSM
Pure Dance is one of the only StageSoc shows in which we tend to actually have a DSM. It falls under them to “call” the show. This involves calling the LX or Sound Cues at the top of each number after ensuring the stage is ready. They will also communicate with ASMs and any other stage crew about any stage side issues or events. Finally, in the case of an emergency, it has previously been that the “voice of god” evacuation announcement and would come through them if it were needed.
